As a tall, plus-size shopper who has spent years writing about size-inclusive fashion, I know first-hand just how hard it is to find jeans that look current and trendy but are also comfortable for a curvier body and are the right length. My go-to choice is Abercrombie, which offers plus sizes and long options. They even have a curve-specific line that caters to people who have larger hips and thighs, specifically. Though it may take some trial and error to find your ideal fit, Abercrombie offers enough options that most people should be able to find something they love.

A top denim brand for petite women, Madewell is an inclusive brand that has something for our tall peeps as well. Good Housekeeping Institute Textiles Lab Analyst Grace Wu is an overall fan of the brand's denim "I love how soft and stretchy Madewell's jeans are, the material has ample elastane (spandex) for a comfortable fit." According to the brand, the tall curvy high-rise skinny jeans are ideal for women between 5'9" and 5'11" and have stretch designed for curves. "The length was perfect for my height, and they hit right below my ankle," says Good Housekeeping Chemist and fellow tall girl, Sabina Wizemann who gave this pair a spin for us. " They hugged and lifted my curves in the right places with no gap in the back," she added.

The creators of Amalli Talli design their clothing specifically with tall women in mind. The brand is dedicated to bringing pieces with longer bodices, inseams and overall longer lengths. "I felt secure in these jeans but they were still super comfortable," says one of our GH tall jean testers. "I can wear these all day without any issues." The Brooklyn tall button fly cuff jean is a top-seller for the brand and is available in light and dark washes.

Plus-size brand Torrid has a variety of denim from colored to distressed denim, perfect for tall women in plus-sizes 10-30. What stood out the most was the variety of inseam options, Torrid offers inseam lengths in regular, tall, and ex-tall. The luxe slim boot jeans come in light and medium wash and according to the brand are made from a lightweight stretch fabric.

The pull-on design from well-known shapewear brand Spanx is a favorite in the Good Housekeeping Institute Textiles Lab. After panel and in Lab testing, our experts found that these hold up and are worth the coin! Some panelists thought that the Spanx jeans performed better than their favorite designer denim. Available in a range of styles, these jeans look like regular denim, have a built-in shapewear panel but don't have buttons or a zipper. As you guys already know, being a tall girl and shopping for jean shorts can be an absolute nightmare. In fact, jean shorts just may be the most difficult and stressful thing to find as a woman who extra height. Often times, jean shorts do not accommodate longer torsos, as we talked about when we launched our jeans.
